Dassyras’ story goes back a long, long way. More specifically, Miltiadis Dassyras, after having worked for more than 15 years in the coffee industry, managed to make his dream come true in 1987, by opening his own traditional coffee shop.
10 years later, in 1997, he realized that both his client base and needs had grown to such an extent that he could no longer stay in the same store. So he moved into bigger privately-owned facilities. Gradually the second-generation of the family joined the business, while always respecting the company’s philosophy, by providing high-quality and keeping the company’s annual production intentionally small. However, Thanassis Dassyras who represents the second generation of the business brought new ideas. New ideas, new goals and new blends. And so tradition met vision and DASH espresso was born.
